MagicMan Where are you located? I have a Polaris that I don’t think I will be using. I am located in southwest Chicago burbs.

If the original WTB individual doesn't buy this, please provide me details. I think this design would suit my family well. I travel to your area (Chicago subsurbs) often to visit family.

Please let me know about your Polaris when you have time.

I will not be able to use my computer for about a week so don’t think I am backing out. I will try to respond on about 10/21. I have taken the Polaris on several trips but now I have been going in a solo canoe. It has some ware but is in good condition. When I get back I will try to post or email pictures.

We're in the Twin Cities. Unfortunately can't make it down to your area. Looks like another member is interested. I hope he can buy it from you. Those Northstars are fantastic paddling canoes!

Please let me know what layup you have and its condition. Thanks.

I am still interested in seeing pictures, understanding the layup/features, and knowing your price. I posted my email address previously and it’s also easy to click on the envelope icon near my username. I tried yours once and it gave me an invalid email address with two @‘s in it. Thanks, Doug

I'll buy it. I'll be in your area in less than a month (or could make a trip sooner if that's needed). Please email me to coordinate the details of the sale. Thanks, Doug

I received photos from this seller. It’s a gel coated Northwind (17’-6”), made in December 1999. Hardly a scratch on it. Unfortunately too far, and a little too small for what I want.

Thanks, Too far for me to travel, and we are looking for a smaller boat than the Northwind. We are on the smaller side, pack very light, and prefer a sportier paddling experience.

What length canoe are you looking for? I am not that familiar with Northstar

The video was taken after the canoe was washed with soap and water this cleans the scratches and makes them easier to see. The video in intended to show all the damage on the canoe. One thing the video missed is a small ding in the gunnel. There is a picture with a straight edge that shows that. I normally have 303 protectant on the outside of the canoe. It protects from sun damage, hides many of the scratches and makes dirt come off easier. The picture of the full canoe has 303 on it. I would sell it for $2100. VIDEO

There is a used Northstar Phoenix listed on Carls' Paddlin' website (shop is located in Lone Rock, Wisconsin).
The Phoenix, btw, is nowhere near 16'long. 14.5'.

about 16-17 feet, but narrow so I can paddle it relatively easily solo
