Ok, maybe not a total beater. Have a SR 17 for tripping which pretty much ate up my watercraft budget but still need something for basic car camping with the missus that fits my car/teardrop configuration (SR a tad too long) - need a reasonably decent but aged14 or 15’er under $500, maybe an old mad river royalex with a bunch of dings? Or an old town that’s gotten pretty homely but still doesn’t leak? I’m not much for aluminum. Needle in a haystack.
