Poor thing has been stored for too long and needs to be in the water. Always stored under cover. Great canoe for lake tripping as a solo or tandem. Because it has no center thwart it can be paddled sitting backwards on the front seat easily. There is still plenty of room for gear or a smaller paddler in the new bow. This boat has been on a number of BWCA trips with my daughter and I. Good tracking without being a dog on rivers. I bought it used from Sawbill Outfitters many moons ago.
