I found black gas pipe to be the same diameter and used it to make longer bars so I could carry two canoes. You can have it cut and threaded to add a cap if you want.

If anyone has one, I'm looking for 1- "66 yakima roundbar, would of course buy a pair if someone has a used set no longer in use.

Have also used gas pipe for longer bars.

I have a pair of 58" and 48" round bars. You can have the 58's if they aren't too short. I'm near Madison, WI.
