Let me know if you're interested in a trade, or if you have a Northwind 16 you'd be interested in selling. |

2009 Bell Magic - SOLD 2020 Northstar Northwind 17 - StarLite 48# I really wanted a Northwind 16 but not too many seem to come up for sale used, so I got impatient and bought this last year. This was an outfitter canoe, but came with aluminum seat drops rather than the typical riveted seat brackets found on most outfitter models. The aluminum drops were failing and have been replaced with cherry. Before selling the outfitter “refinished” the hull with a resin coat but it was a sloppy job with a lot of runs and sags. This boat is the epitome of the idea of “a canoe is a tool”. Cosmetically it’s a bit rough, but functionally it is a great boat. The internal skid plates and added resin coat make it a little bit heavier than the spec weight at 48#. Northwind 17 Photos |
