I normally wear a size 9 1/2. I bought the size 11 NRS boundary waters boot on the recommendation of others for winter canoeing. Fits well, glad I listened to their advice.

Hi
Cost conscious BWCA trekker. I only go once per year - twice if lucky.

Looking to go DRY FOOT. Seeking a used size 11 or 12 set of Chota or NRS water boots.
If you are looking to part with a waterproof way of walking thru the BWCA - let me know. Open to new ideas.

Check out frogg toggs wading pants. They have stocking foot socks so you can pick the wading/hiking shoes you want to wear with them. They are oustanding for paddling days and rainy days..pants are about $100 and boots run from about $50 up. Excellent for wet exits and entry at portages.

I had the opposite experience with the chota caney fork boots, I'm normally size 10.5, I have 1 pair of shoes size 11.

If I measure my feet at a shoe store, I'm 10.5.

They don't do half sizes, so I got size 11 boots, they were HUGE, even with the chota hippies and socks, the size 10 fits much better.
