Hey guys were headed in on thursday. Gonna be starting at farm lake and existing out south kawishiwi. Any advice for catching smallmouth and walleye would be appreciated! Are the leeches with a slip bobber the way to go right now?

The direct route from EP to EP is Farm through Clear and then down river once out of the little bay that the Clear-South K portage is in. On the North K, fish the outflow of 'Deadmans', the S-shaped narrows you'll paddle through. If you're up for a bit of a detour, when you come out of Deadmans continue upstream past the Haystack rock (you'll know it when you see it) instead of turning right and heading for the portage to Clear. Good fishing between the Haystack and where the river gets pretty narrow, there's a small hump right there and you'll notice some current. Also, when you get to the South K, instead of turning right towards EP 32, turn upstream. Good fishing below the next two sets up rapids and it will only be about a 10 minute paddle to each.

Good luck!
