Near as I can say, 42 inch pike this morning on Boot.

Boot Lake? I'm sure there a few Boot Lakes in Minnesota. The one north of Park Rapids?

Boot, right north of Fourtown, right next to Portage into Fairy. Will post a picture when I figure out how to do that. Folks are catching a lot of walleye on Crooked last two days.

I turned my phone on a couple years ago at one of the more southerly sites on Boot Lake after my camera batteries died to take some pics. It wasn’t in airplane mode since it was powered off up to that point. I was shocked to see I was getting 3G service. Sent a message to test it and it went right through, so I turned it off and buried in the pack to make sure my kid didn’t make the same discovery...
