It's a long list! Lac La Croix (not strictly in Quetico), McCaree, Argo, Darky, Brent, Knife, Man Chain, Carp, Basswood, Saganaga, Agnes. I'm sure I've missed many.

For numbers, the Man Chain is hard to beat.
But lots of lakes -- almost all of them -- have fishable populations of trout.

As others have said, there are a lot of good lakes for lake trout in Quetico. Is there a particular area you’re considering? That can help us give you more specific advice. There are almost always lake trout lakes within a portage or two in Quetico. Almost any lake deep enough will have them.

Had good luck on Carp last year with lake trout trolling thunderstiks.
