High in the 40s. Low in the 30s. Burrrrrrrr... Don't tell me it's time to put the windshield scraper in the truck.

Djjacobson: "We're heading up Gunflint, going to Poplar, Lizz, Caribou, Horseshoe, and Gaskin Lake this Thursday, 09/27/2018. Does anyone know what the walleye are biting on and about what depth? Approximate water temp? Looks like highs in the mid 40's and lows in the low 30's.

Thanks in advance!"

How was the fishing?

I'm sure this will be different for you, but we were up there 1st week in August (Gaskin and Meeds) for a week and didn't catch crap. Came out early because of that.

Better luck to you!!!

We stayed on little Caribou two weeks ago. A lot might have changed since then but fishing was slow in general. We had a little more luck on Caribou Lake but you'll have to be patient and put in the time to get fish. Just the time of year I guess. Live bait is recommended. Surprisingly our best luck was on the western side of Caribou along the shore on the north in about 6 feet of water. Caught our only walleyes (3 of them) there.
