Any luck on the lakers? Will be making a trip some time in Feb/Mar and debating that area again as I like the option for Brook Trout in Topper.

Heading to South Lake in the morning to chase after lake trout! Been trying to catch a laker for 3 years! Any info on fishing South Lake would be greatly appreciated!!

All thou it's been many years , the portage from topper we caught trout right there. a tip up with a chunk of meat on it and a jigging rod with various jigging spoons tipped with a chunk of sucker , glow is always a nice choice , you should get bit.

I just returned from a failed attempt to find lake trout. I have myself have been trying to catch a laker. was trying to reach Fat lake but my equipment let me down. I'll be better prepared next time.
