Most guys around here are going to electric, either stand alone or with the various adapters. I would get it on the market ASAP as the season is just starting up in earnest most places and next year prices for gas augers will be much lower.

Around here most used augers of that caliber go for about $150. If it’s in really nice condition $200. People are skiddish around used, small engines.
Yours may fetch more, just thought I’d throw it out there.
I’d head to your local bait shop. Maybe 1 that doesn’t sell augers. Ask if you could hang a sign up.
Good luck!

I put it on a facebook buy, sell, trade group and sold it for $125 in about two hours. I agree with moonman, electric has come a long way and is seen more and more.

I would check craigslist, find the cheapest (truly) comparable item, watch the listing. If it disappears price yours about the same, if it’s been up for a month price yours lower if you want to sell.

Since I started teaching I have very limited time for ice fishing. I have a Strikemaster Lazer 224 I would like to sell but have no idea what to ask for it. It has 2 stroke, 2 HP, and 4 blades. It is in very good condition and hasn't been used in at least 5 years. Prior to that it was used on two trips a year up north for about 4-5 days each. I am going to have a tune up done on it but thought I would check the knowledge base here on a starting price.
