Are there any clear differences between walleye and bass territory, other than water temps?

Can you tell by looking at a map? How about the shoreline? Rocks, mud, sand? Do you find Walleye and Bass in the same places?

They can be together under many scenarios . When I fish the big water reefs for walleye In mid summer, there are always bass present. Have caught some of my biggest smallmouth fishing for walleye on the reefs. I don’t fish for smallmouth very often, but when I do it’s usually casting rocky shorelines. I have also found them together in shallow areas that have current and structure.
