walllee, how did you know what depth to fish those jigs and how did you know when your jigs were at that depth?

I slow troll with my eyes on the depth finder at all times . As far as what depth to fish, I let the fish tell me. Poohbah is a lake with vast amount of structure. As I approach a area that I want to fish, I would start in 30 feet of water, and work my way shallower until I found the depth the fish were active , then with my eyes on the fish finder, I stay at that depth with my jig bumping the bottom as I troll around. Simple and effective.

Walleyes were in 14 to 20 feet. 1/2 ounce white jig with a 4 inch white twister tail was all I used for ten days. Lakers were mostly 30 to 45 feet deep, although I did catch my biggest one in only 20 feet while fishing for Walleyes on a bright hot day. Northerns and Bass were all over the place. For Lakers all I used was a Northland Bionic buck tail jig, 2 ounce.
