Try Minnesota bookstore com. It's a large map. Like 4' × 5'. Very detailed. I believe they also have a Fishing Hot Spots map .

I bought a Burntside fishing hot spots map from Babes. Not very accurate same with the contours on my navionics chip. All the hazards are well marked though. Cell service on most areas can pull up Google maps satellite to see your location and structure if all else fails.

Anyone have a favorite "fishing" map for Burntside Lake. We will be going there in a few weeks and pontooning it around and I didn't really see anything online. I don't mind buying in Ely, but if anyone can save me some time and tell me if they have a favorite and where to go get it.
Thanks!

(Deep sigh...) Up until just a few weeks ago, you might have gotten some advice from TGO... if he would have shared it. The saying goes, "When a older person dies, it's like burning down a library." In Jim's case, it was a library of fishing knowledge. Hopefully someone else can help you.

Stop by Babes bait as you enter Ely. Ask for Russ , he can give you all the info you need, and will mark a map for you. Tell him Lee from Illinois sent you . Great guy, full of knowledge of the area.

There was a couple of guys that posted pictures of some nice fish on this forum, maybe a month ago. Titled something like 88" of walleyes. Also Bushpilot on this forum knows Burntside well and has always been helpful.
