The last week of Sept. last year I consistently caught LT in 60' of water all over Knife.

Heading out to Knife on September 20th and planning to stay on the south arm. We are planning to try all species - troll for lakers, slip bobbers for walleyes on west side reefs, and spoons for pike. Would greatly appreciate if anybody could share any tips or strategies this late in the season. Thank you !

gamanyuk: "Thank you. We have not had any luck catching lakers in 4 days. We tried trolling 30ft deep tail dancers with 2-3oz weights and caught a few small mouth. We also had some pike action near site 1430 approximately 150ft from the shore jigging with Vibratos."
I don't get into SMB when fishing for LT in the Fall. Makes me think you may have been too shallow. How much line did you have out? How fast were you trolling? At 1-2mph I get down 60' with 120' of line out with the large DDTD and 2oz weight. I use 10lb Fireline Tracer
