FYI, if you're new to this site, Mike is THE Bassmaster, as well as the Bass Whisperer, and he can herd bass into his canoe like old Rawhide Rowdy Yates could herd those doggies into the corral.

P.S. - He catches 40+" pike and 30+" walleyes too.

It is that time of the year when new people are searching this site for information on fishing Quetico and the Boundary Waters. I have been receiving a lot of requests for these articles lately so I thought I would post this offer again. I truly enjoy helping people with their fishing, that's what it is all about. In the past I have offered to share my fishing articles with the folks on this forum. If you would like to read any of the following articles, just send me an email at - queticomike@yahoo.com - and request the articles you are interested in reading. Good luck this year!

Article listing:

Grand Slam Lures - an article about basic lures for the 4 major fish species

Zulu Magic - fishing soft plastic jerk baits for smallmouth bass

Tubing smallmouth - fishing for smallmouth bass with tube baits in late summer

Bronze trophy - fishing for big smallmouth and the different phases of the fishing seasons

Topwater smallmouth - topwater lure fishing for smallmouth bass

If you have any fishing questions, just send me an email.

Thanks, Mike. I read 'em and learned lots. When people read fishing articles I've written, they learn nothing beyond the fact that I'm a goof.

flytyer: "He also fishes a LOT!"

Only about 200 to 250 times a year depending on water levels and clarity of the river in my backyard. :)
