Deancal, That would also depend on how many days you have. It takes 2 days in and 2 days out to reach Kawnipi for the most part . Barring unforeseen weather you obviously would be on Kawnipi mid day the second day but you get the point. Never fished Wet, maybe this year though

We have been switching our plans lately. We were first going to Alpine but changed to the Saganongon area and looking at Wet lake and Kenny lake area. We are going the first part of June. Has anyone tried fishing in Wet lake that time of year with good success? We love fishing for eyes, pike and lakers.

We traveled thru Wet Lake on our way to McEwen. It was an epic journey for our two young boys so we just paddled on to our destination without stopping or fishing.
We had a blast with small lake trout on McEwen.

Much more fish than a dry lake.

Thanks. Lakers are fun! We are just not sure if we want to go all the way to Kawnipi or base camp in Saganongons
