Hi Spotpres1, New member here. Looking forward to joining in on the conversation as I am doing a similar trip with same outfitter end of August with my twin sons. Ill be watching this post hoping for same info.
I stayed with this outfitter way back in 2001 and did motor boat fishing in moose lake and basswood. We caught most our fish in basswood using leeches almost exclusively. Been a long time, looking forward to a good trip!

Hello! yes we fished basswood last trip after coming in through Wood lake and motorboats started going by we were like WTH lol. Anyway we thought we would try it little different for our third trip and stay in the cabin but have the option to still camp a couple nights. My overall experience has been that you can catch small to medium sized pike till your arm falls off but what I would like is more walleye! curious what works best in the BWCA for them. Thank you.

Hello guys! We will be fishing Moose Lake the week after July 4th and curious if any of you have been there and have any suggestions. This will be our 3rd trip to the BWCA but staying in a cabin at Latourells this time and motorboating around Moose and also going to camp couple nights somewhere also. Which lures are you using this year and what ya catching. Thanks in advance.
