You may want to call around, they start to get hard to find this time of year. Leeches are pretty tough, if you can find them locally you could buy them and keep them cold and they'll likely be just fine for the drive up.

If you're able to find somewhere and are willing to share where, I'd appreciate the info! I'm heading up Tuesday the 18th and struggling to find somewhere that thinks they'll have 2 lbs. in stock. We're getting 1/2 flat of crawlers just in case. Thanks!

Bought a couple dozen at Tofte. I have fished wax worms bigger than them.
Fishing was slow on Parent this past week.

Was up this past weekend and Voyaguer North was the only place with any leeches and they were tiny. They had only a couple dozen left when we were there. We lost probably a dozen that slipped through the tiny vent holes in the leech locker.... (this is not V North's fault, just telling it like it is)

Heading up tomorrow night and we usually stop at the holiday gas station in Tofte to pick leeches up. They no longer sell in bulk.
What other locations on the way up still sells in bulk? Only looking for a pound.
Thanks

Arrowhead outdoors in Ely sells in 1/2 and 1lb quantities. Call before you stop, not sure how much longer they will be in stock.
