I understand that the lake is accessible by boat by way of Gunflint Lake. Assuming the water levels are normal, about how big of a boat can you get through there? I know my boat would easily make it. However, we’ll be in a bigger boat to accommodate the distance and number of people...16 ft aluminum with 40 HP motor...is that manageable?
