I have caught fish from shore on Superior often and at many different times of year. Casting spoons into the lake at river mouths is always a good strategy.

Was also thinking (depending on how many hours you have) it's always fun to drive up the back roads, park anywhere a river crosses, and fish for Brookies. Just bring some Panther Martins, hop in anywhere and start fishing. The Cascade River is a great option for this. Probably the same on Devil Track.

I've seen a couple posts about July-August, but none about this time of the year.
Will have some hours to kill in GM next week. Anyone ever caught fish from the shore at this time of the year?
