That's a big fish! I guess I'm not surprised that you've fished that lake. My neighbors who've lived here all their lives tell me stories of old timers fishing that deep lake looking for trophies such as yours. I guess they really do exist!

shock: "Hammertime: "DRob1992: "Hammertime: "The metro lakes have good populations of muskies in them. I’ve been lucky enough to get a couple while bass fishing on Harriet and cedar. "
Beautiful pattern on the smaller one. Is that smaller one a Tiger Muskie? I've never caught a Muskie and don't know much about them."
I have absolutely no idea, I’ve never been a Muskie fisherman just accidentally caught a few.
Maybe somebody else can provide an ID." appears to be a spotted musky not a tiger. sometimes the smaller one's can have the coolest patterns "
That is one of the prettiest, most unique patterns I've ever seen on a fish!

They always look more "gator" than "fish" to me. I have friends from my fly-fishing group who fly fish for these near Hayward, WI. I still can't believe they hook those monsters on a fly rod.

I'm going to have to put my boat in to Harriet one of these days before freeze-up. I'm only a couple of blocks south.
