We will be going into the back bays of Basswood by way of Fall Lake. Most of my success in the BWCA, when fishing, comes from early or-mid summer fishing so I kind of have a good grasp on what to look for. I'm a little worried I may hit the struggle bus at the end of the month because I just don't have a good feel for how the fishing goes in the fall up north. I also know that it's right at a transition period where we are moving from summer temps to fall temps. What are some of the indicators that would help me determine the fish are now in the fall patterns and structure spots? I know water temp is a big one but are there other indicators that would help? |
