The first two days I didn’t catch a smallmouth over 15 inches. I tried every topwater in the box. I had some WPs back at camp in my large topwater box so on day 3 I threw one in my main tackle box. Quickly found out that’s what they wanted. I’m not much of a WP guy, but if that’s what they want, then that’s what I am going to throw.
