It was my understanding that the selling point of this lure was the excessively loud popping, slurping, gurgling noise? Guess I better buy a few (bunch!) to see if there is a difference! I use both the WP and Berkley units with very good success.

Both WP and Berkley have worked well for us. Yep, ironic...last year my 8-year-old daughter asked why we need to be quiet when we fish with loud lures!
