fishing is mostly disappointment for me, year round.

Late august last year did great catching walleyes with leeches. Right at sundown was the best time for them, a few in the morning hours too.

Disappointment is one of my favorite fishing lakes.

I’ve gone in the spring, but this is my first fall trip.
I had great luck using leeches to catch walleyes, but they will be hard to find in the fall.
If I can find them at all.

What can I use in the fall to catch walleyes?
Live bait?
Soft baits?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
