Anyone here fished Pemmican Lake off of Mountain?

Fished it in Sept '02. Great trout lake. The portage from Mountain Lake is one of the worst portages I've ever done. 65 rods straight up hill, narrow with sharp bends and overgrown. With all that said, I'd do it again.

Yea, I fished Pemmican years ago from shore after bushwhacking a mile from West Pike to get to the lake. Obviously, the easier way in is to take the portage from Mountain Lake.
We caught several pan-sized brook trout.

Thanks guys, It will be a day trip for fishing Trout and adventure.
It's more memorable if the journey is tougher.
