Hello all,

I’ve been enjoying bwca trips multiple times a year but LLC always seems to get away. One year was wind, another year camps, and finally we had a day there and never fail bay did not fail.

This year, it’s a dedicated LLC trip. I’ll be entering through 16 and intend to do 3 nights in the general area weather permitting.

What I’m looking for is advice on lake trout and walleye in early sept as I’ve never been on a bigger lake up there that time of year.

Never fail, tiger, and boulder are all on our list but they don’t go as deep as lakers want.

Should I target the hole north of never fail? Troll the ~50 ft depth area in the center, hit the deep pocket north of Toe?

Somewhat of an open question but that entire southern stretch (weather permitting) is my target so open to any and all advice!

Thank you!
