Leaving a week from today. Plan a day on ckearwater, a day on hungry jack, maybe bearskin, and a day in flour. I'm hoping the smallies and eyes will be in the shallows. Any thoughts?

I leave Sunday for a Tuesday entry. Going in at Bower Trout and leaving through Ram.

I'm hoping the smallies and wallies are biting. Taking some first timers and hitting some lakes I've never been on before. 7 days out. Gonna try to hit some lakers on Little Trout as well. Looks like bugs are heavy, rain is eminent. But hopefully some dry moments too.

Can't wait!

On Clearwater fish every point on the north side of the lake. Loaded with smallmouth bass. I’ve had 2 one hundred fish days there. Use a #3 Mepps spinner pattern. Then there is a sunken Island on the East side of Clearwater that is productive too. It’s not on any map, but Google Earth shows you clearly where it is. Just anchor right on top and cast all around you for great action.

Solid advice on Clearwater. No walleye in there but LOTS of bass and the chance for a monster laker always exists there. Encourage you to troll over deep water while traveling from spot to spot if that interests you.

If you want to fish for both bass and walleye I think Flour is going to be your most productive lake. Walleyes are in HJ but very difficult to catch except at night time. But there is great bass fishing. Not sure if you keep bass to eat but there are some slot restrictions on both Flour and HJ so look into that.

Have a great trip and please report back!
