Perfect, 1/8-1/4 in spring and 1/4-3/8 in summer...sometimes even 1/2 ounce if fishing 20-30 ft deep in summer.

I've fished leeches while my son used AuthentX Moxis up front of me and he's caught as many as I did.
We usually get pink, white and he has some with blue head/yellow tail. Those things turned my head after seeing him match me. I always want bait but am learning you really don't always need it. Good luck.

Hello all!
I have some grubs in black, white, chartreuse, and green pumpkin. I was wondering if these would work well for walleyes jigged on bottom? I also have some 3 inch zoom tiny flukes that I plan to use on bottom as well.

Agree with cwallace. What you described will work great.
Our group uses 1/4 ounce and 1/8 ounce jigs and (usually) 3" twister tails all the time in Quetico where no live baits is allowed. They work great for walleyes.
Find some reefs or rocky points and jig like crazy.

Yep, those work well! We prefer 4" or so paddletails since you can fish them a little faster and cover more water. We like the 3.5" and 4" sizes in Cuervo Gold/Chartreuse tail. These baits are made for salt water, so they tend to last a lot more fish than a lot of the freshwater soft plastics. They feel great in the hand and go on a jig easily.
