Has anyone ever tried to paddle the little creek that goes from the northwest end of Ensign to Trident?

I think he's saying "not likely".

If you look at the satellite photos of the area between the two lakes, it doesn't look good (although there's no way of knowing when they were taken, of course). It appears as through the western end of this creek just might be passable, but midway looks dicey & towards Trident the blue line pretty much vanishes.

I'd say if you're looking for adventure, go for it, with full knowledge you might not make it or may need to bushwhack. If you're looking for a shortcut...I'd say skip it.

I think that windschill is saying is the creek is not passable. Referring to the quote by the wise old grandfather in Grumpy Old Men (played by Burgess Meredith) told his son he could wish in one hand, and take a #### in the other and see which one fills up first.
