Haven't looked at the map to refresh my memory, but there's an island in the middle of that lake toward the canadian side. On the east end there's a slight cove cut out in the island. Walleyes jigging in about 12-15 ft. Good luck. There were some guide's in motor boats fishing along side us with a group back in '06, "hand over fist."

I'm looking for suggestions on what would be the best part of little vermilion lake to fish. Has anyone caught any walleyes or pike and are there any good size panfish. I plan on fishing from a kayak for the season opener.
