Are you talking about human or dog years here? :)

The most amazing thing to me is he knows exactly where to grab the fish to avoid those prickly fins. Great photos dog. Thanks.

Was that a fish you released and hung in the weeds or a true find and catch for the doggie?

Ok not quite what some might think the deal is. :-) When I have fish on a stringer he won't leave them alone. He kept sneaking down to the landing and retrieving them. Very soft mouth on them. He's even better on ducks. He has great canoe manners and loves to fish. You won't find a better canoe partner. Now my black lab..that is a different story. All he does is whine.....I hate canoe partners that do that.

Great pics of a fine dog! Does he practice catch and swallow? Do you think the fish was "stressed"?

Had a fish house on a lake and there was a dog in that area who was a fish kidnapper, if you left your fish outside it was gone.
