9 pound walleye. Very nice. I think one of the pics is of a whitefish?

My Mom recently gave me a DVD with a bunch old family pics and I've been going over them, lots of pics of my Grandpa, pretty horible shots really, you would have thought it would kill him to get the entire fish in the pic, but cool none the less, especally knowing they are all from the Gunflint/GM area where he lived, just something about the crappy colors of the old pcis that "brings you back"

quote WhiteWolf: "That pic of the family in the boat looks like a Duratech boat. My dad/uncle had one for years that I got to use for a little bit in the beginning of my fishing days. Beasts-- but they could handle some rough seas."

I'm not sure what it was, I know he painted it, that was the "big lake boat",he was capt of the coast guard aux in Grand Marais, the station there in the harbor has two full roll-out garage bays, but only one boat, so he got to keep it in there, kinda funny seeing all the kids in there with no PFD's but that was for the photo only, I remember always wearing one when actually out fishing, I'm the goof in middle wearing the purple shirt
