Just finished a week of day trips out of Ely. The fishing was very good. Spent three days hammering Rainbows on Tofte Lake. We spent one day on Isabella. The Walleyes were very cooperative . The Walleyes were on the edges of the reefs, and stacked up in the weeds. Myrtle Lake was also very good for Crappie. Had to weed through lots of small ones, but caught our limit of large fish.

Wow, you really made the rounds from Isabella to Myrtle! Thanks for the report; I'm headed that way for a week of R&R next week so I hope to find some of the same luck.

Myrtle Lake. Wow. Haven't heard that lake name in some time. As mentioned-- good pie' lake.
