Also kids would have fun at a campsite. Any pictures at all from the BWCA? I bet not many? prove me wrong? I think I caught a total of 1 bluegill up in the BWCA and it was on a river system. They may be the best tasting fish out there. I got to catch that bluegill fish, than I can work on that picture thing. I think maybe I need fishing lessons. |

If I catch one I will usually move on because I'm usually trying to catch fish other than bluegill, I can catch those any time I want to on my local lakes and ponds, when I'm up there I want to catch other species. Here is a nice one from Gull Lake a number of years ago. Bad picture, we had it laid flat in his hand and it was far bigger than his hand. We didn't eat that one :) |

Malberg has decent gills. I always bring some little stuff in case I see some bluegills swimming or in a northern's belly. |
