As far as can be taken apart, note the jet has a bit of fiber fluff under the head of the jet as a filter. The fuel valve adjusting needle is pinned in the valve body. WindPro apart. Again the needle is pinned into the valve body. The fuel line does have a standard MSR stainless steel cable inside but has no way to remove it for cleaning. Jets in both unscrew and can be cleaned with the MSR jet tool from their liquid stove kits. The MSR pump oil works well as a lube for the o-rings and washers. I have soaked both in CLR for cleaning in the past. Rinsed with hot water, sprayed with CRC silicone lube, and test burned to clear residues. Both still work like new. A little upkeep works for even the simplest burners, but some environments as salt air beaches may require more frequent cleaning. butthead |
