I'd be up for trying one. I am trying to figure out the best options for my tailbone in various sitting scenarios.

I ended up purchasing it today. I figured if it doesn’t work with the canoe seat it will come in handy on the logs around the campfire. Also if I don’t like it as a pillow I can put it between my legs when I sleep (side sleeper).

I fell for the get one free, just pay the shipping ($9.99). of course then they offer you another, for just $9.99 more, and then well, I made a mistake, and ended up with 3 in my cart. So I paid $29.97 for 3 of them. If you're in the twin cities I could run one by for you to experience."

That sounds like something I would do! Try to get a free camping pad and end up paying $30 and getting 3 of them somehow! Thanks for the offer anyways. "

I just did that with the Luci light and their Earth Day sale. I heard it was buy one, get one so I checked it out. I ended up getting 4 ordered. To be fair though, I did want to get over the $50 mark for free shipping and the second set is for my tripping buddy who will pay for them when he visits.

I had a klymit pad for one 8 day trip. sold/traded it to dicecupmaker.
it was too narrow for me, apparently I toss and turn in a wide area.

IcePaddler: "Anyone have experience with this thing? On sale for $10, thought it might be worth a shot. I have an old alumacraft canoe with a unforgiving metal seat. Normally I just sit on my life jacket but after a couple hours paddling and fishing my ass still gets sore! This looks like it might fit well on a canoe seat or log around the campfire. It’s longer and skinnier. It also doubles as a pillow which is nice except for the fact that my butt would have been on it all day! Haha!

Sorry I’m posting on my phone and it won’t let me post an actual link!"

I fell for it too, and bought one.

It seems like solid construction, but it is long and skinny. I figure at $10, it was worth a shot. I guess time will tell on how durable it is.

It might work well as a between the knees pillow for a side sleeper like me. I'd be afraid that it wouldn't be thick enough though. Yeah I can fold it over, but that seems like a pain at night every time you move at all. In the canoe as a seat seems a little iffy too. I don't want to pop the thing with a hook while fishing.

Yeah I was thinking it might end up with a hook in it. I seem to hook just about everything I’m not supposed to when I’m fishing.
