I have 2 of them. I’ve been using them for around 10 years with no issues. I did have to laugh when I saw the price it definitely went up. I bought them for 60 a piece

Wondering if anyone has this pack and if so, what your thoughts/experience is with it?
Thanks,

It looks like the old Woods Mason pack that Gander Mountain had about 15 years ago. I Googled it and up popped my thread I had in 2005 Woods Mason Pack

2005 thread

The pack was pretty good I wouldn't put a lot of weight in it and the water bottle pocket seem to catch on the thwart when you loading and unloading.

I had a Woods Mason, which became Chinook Chemun Portage Pack, now apparently North49 Northwester. Big wide pack with good suspension, waist belt sternum strap load lifters and aluminum stays in the frame that are user adjustable for fit.
I was not fond of the "c-collar" shoulder straps or the extra width and removed the mesh side pockets.

Like kajay I bought mine new 2004 about $60.

PS: Forgot to mention the photos show it with a 60 liter blue barrel in it. bh

I have a Woods Mason as well, think I got one of the last ones. I like the side pockets/straps where I can slide in my Camp Time Roll a Chair, and I like the side mesh pockets which give me quick easy access to my water bottle. And it's pretty sturdy and comfortable.
