kona: "22’ is mega big. Pics indicate it must be super wide too? The old sawyer catalogs I’ve seen list a Saber model at 24’ but nothing else over 20’. Maybe worth having the seller re check measurements, tip to tip on the open side and the width at the widest point"
Thanks. I’ll check the measurements again.

That is a Guide Special - Sawyer's family camping/expedition/moose hunting boat. Very stable, carries huge weight, but not terrible to paddle. The fiberglass is pretty heavy to be muscling around. I see them $200 to $500 fairly regularly - most folks are looking for the lighter, more nimble models these days.

That is correct. I misunderstood the measurements. 18’ long and 3’ wide. Thanks

I am looking at buying a Sawyer Canoe at a local auction and wanted to get some ideas of price. It is a 22’ foot Sawyer. Any and all information about the make and model is appreciated. Thanks. I own kayaks but I would like to get something for my sons, wife, and me to use together.

Great information thanks. I was thinking of putting it on a roof rack but might prove to be too difficult. Thanks.
