I'd check to see if they're old stock before the recent improvement. I had serious issues with the older version last year (shoulder strap buckles kept popping undone, an oft-reported problem), and sent mine back under warranty (unfortunately I received an old version as a replacement, as the newer version wasn't out yet). The newer version seems to be improved with more substantial, non-quick release buckles. It might be worth the added money.
