You have a nice setup there tomcat. I know the individual temp could be an issue in that you get to warm...? But with the kids I am aiming for too warm over cold. I guess I could just get another kid sleeping bag. Just thinking of my last trip where it was 29 degrees in the morning and I am not sure the kids sleeping bags are good at that temp... I also suppose I can check that... Alright well thanks for the input I think I might just buy another kids sleeping bag for them and call it good.

Anyone ever use these? I am bringing my wife, 1 year old, and 4 year old on a trip and usually we just bring blankets/bags for the kids. But thought maybe it would be better to just bring one big bag for all of us. Plus then if it happened to get chilly we would also have body heat?
Thoughts? Portaging it is not an issue.

Dangit. Looked them up and they are only good to 45 degrees. Have to buy two bags now.
