Judging solely by the profile, it's definitely the 17' 9" Lynn Tuttle designed Cruiser. Compare to the pictures below. Hans Solo |

Hard to get a sense of scale from the picture but it looks like it might be a 222- (18.5')- a big water, high capacity cruising hull that is also quite adept at whitewater if you can do without the sudden turns. If not that it's probably a Cruiser (17'9"). BTW- The 222 is probably the finest big tripping hull ever made. Fast, impossibly seaworthy and incredible capacity to carry gear. Bow can be difficult for small paddlers. Often heavy. |

I'm doing my research: https://bwca.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=forum.thread&threadId=598729&forumID=15&confID=1 Sounds like it'll still fit my needs well if I dress the bowsprite in waterproofs! |

Longtime lurker here. I've got an OT Appalachian already for getting wet and twisty... Been looking for a bigger lake and tripping cruiser. 3 kids and a mildly willing SWMBO go with. Used to do plenty of ww all over New England. Taught sea kayaking for years. So - who can help me figure this out. It's being sold by a woman who's husband passed and she knows next to nothing. I've asked for dimensions but none received as yet. It's 5 hrs of driving to pickup so no peeking ahead of time. |
