I can't help you with your question, but as a side sleeper who flops around a lot, that hammock is the first one I've seen that makes me think maybe a hammock is in my future someday.

Very cool - have had my eye one one of those for some time. Was the weight true-to-spec? How easy is the entry & exit?

I'm frequently buying gear I know I don't need, but I can never seem to satisfy an itch to try out new stuff. I've been hanging in a WarBonnet XLC the past few years. Its been a nice sleep but I'm always looking for ways to improve the sleeping experience (especially as a side sleeper). After doing quite a bit of research (which to be honest is half of the enjoyment), I bought a 90 Degree Hammock . Pretty interesting design.
After setting it up in the backyard, it is quite comfortable especially for a side sleeper. The problem is the tarp. You can drop another $400 on the tarp made to fit this hammock or make something else work. Shug has a great video on how to make the SuperFly tarp work (which I currently use for the XLC), but having experienced some inclement weather up there before, the idea of being less than 100% protected makes me nervous. Another tarp option . Anybody regularly use one of these? I secretly tell myself that I will just continue to hoard gear until my kids are old enough to make these trips with me.

I have thought about trying a 90° hammock because I am a stomach sleeper. For me the numbers on this one just don't work. $375 seems a little steep for a hammock that has a maximum weight limit of 200 lbs. Then another $200 - $400 more for a tarp.

Entry/exit can be a little challenging but not a deal breaker. You have to sit on the end with it tilted and kind of slide yourself back. The weight is pretty minimal, though I haven't gotten the scale out and double checked it. You do need to put a pad in it which would add some more lbs, but definitely less than the tent options.
