I have not been able to convince myself of the usefulness. I can bake just as well using the "pot in a pot" method or by inverting a pot lid and turning it into a dutch oven.

Of course if I do not have to carry the stuff cast iron dutch ovens are hard to beat!

Never a bad idea. Learn something about the topic, then pick your way through. Even something as simple as a few feet of aluminum foil can be turned into an oven.
One piece of cook gear always interested me, Fry Bake Pan again for the versatility.

I do not own one but one of my tripping partners does so I have seen it in use. Packs down nice and assembles quick. I think you have to play around a little to find the right stove that works best for it. Most will work.....but I think some work "better".

Has anyone here used one of these, or can speak about it? It looks interesting but I need input of others.

Our group has used these and others. They all will work, you just need to be careful with the temperature. If the stove does not have a simple bi-metal thermometer you need to install one. Most recipes call for 350 deg. Start by heating the oven for a few minutes, then add your food and watch the temperature. Adjust the flame up or down to keep you in the temperature zone. I’ve found it cooks just like your oven at home. Also there is the outback oven, and a reflector oven.

Don't overlook the jmo - jello mold oven. Cakes, pizza, brownies, muffins. Very easy and light. I only use mine on my Dragonfly but reported to work on fire.
