So for the first time we're taking a screen tent to the BW. Taking the boss with me and want her to be able to be comfortable at night star gazing. The sides don't seem to reach all the way to the ground. How do y'all handle this issue? Mosquito repellent along the bottom? I know someone here has a remedy for this. It's a $60 screen tent from Fleet Farm

I bought a screen tent from Gander Mountain a few years ago. For a little extra cost, it came with the sod cloth already attached. Still some times I have to adjust the spread of the legs to keep the sod cloth in good contact with the ground.

If you have a gap between the screen and the ground, the little bloodsuckers will find their way in. I like Tomcats idea of lowering the poles so the screen hits the ground, or of you or anyone you know has a sewing machine, add on 6 or so inches of a cheap nylon all the way around the bottom. It would take less than an hour.
