Hi, I have a Sawyer Cruiser 17'9" kevlar
That has been here as long as I remember.
My question is, what is a fair selling price?
I dont use often and think it deserves more use
For someone to enjoy. Please let me know any

Where are you? Find the hull number and you can look up the year. I might be interested if you are close to the Twin Cities. Others will have to help you on price. Kevlar canoes in good shape seem to go for about half retail for new, but how that translates to a boat that has not been produced for decades, I don't know. I had a Goldenglass Cruiser for about 30 years, but some ass stole it.

It's a desirable canoe. Many people love the Cruiser because it's a sweet boat and performs very well even compared to the latest designs. Fiberglass ones are more common (and heavy) than Kevlar. The value still depends on the condition. If it has been stored inside and used little it might be worth somewhere in the $1200-1400 range since a new boat of similar performance would be double that or more. Should be worth at least $1000 even if well-used. It looks like it cost around $1260 and is either 54 lbs or 44 lbs depending on which Kevlar lay-up it is...the 44 pounder would be quite rare.
Just my guesstimates. If you post some pics maybe you'll get some offers.

My first canoe was a glass Cruiser that I bought for $25 in 1981. I had been wrapped but still was repaired in good enough condition to make many trips. Cruisers have fine entry lines and are plenty fast. They tend to plunge through waves, so it is better to quarter them. I sold it for $400 a long time ago.
