I fired off an email to these folks. Hopefully, they will want the stuff. If not, I will follow up on the other two suggestions. Thanks for all the help, everyone.

Any luck Bearpath9? I work with a local History Center that may be interested.

I have an old, canvas 12x12 tent, good shape (needs a little zipper repair) and a
12x12 screen tent that I would like to donate to a charitable organization. Anyone have some recommendations ? I live close to the Cities, be willing to drive an hour in any direction. Don't want any money, just a good home for this stuff, it has served its purpose well over the years.

Maybe check with a local Scout troop.

You might want to check with Wilderness Inquiry: Wilderness Inquiry

One of your local Boy Scout troops is likely your best/easiest option.
