Hey y'all - This summer I came across a vintage canoe that was gifted to me. Its, from what the 2014 registration says, a 1965 Taft, 17 ft, fiberglass canoe. I've searched as best I can for information regarding this make and model but cant find much. All i Know is that Taft was a boat building manufacturer out of Minneapolis in the early and mid 1900's. Seems like they specialized in wooden boat kits. Has anyone ever seen this type of canoe or know anything about it? Any information is appreciated

Very groovy looking. Know nothing about it. It would be nice if it was a few years older and had tail fins on it.

Maybe not the ideal bwca canoe but this canoe has some cool style. I like it.
